The Ultimate Tune-Up
As a computer ages, it will inevitably slow down. People either grin and bear it, continuing to live with a computer that is getting slower and slower, or they pull out several-hundred dollars and buy a new one. Stealth Computer Services is proud to offer you an amazing way to save money when your computer starts slowing down. It is called "The Ultimate Tune-Up" and will make your computer perform as fast as it was when it was new, or faster! This service also costs only a fraction of the price of purchasing a new computer.
Like my guaranteed virus-removal service, The Ultimate Tune-Up is a re-format-based service. The re-format process itself is the equivalent of erasing everything on the computer and starting with a blank slate. Not to worry though, the service includes a full backup of all your personal files such as documents, pictures, music, videos, e-mails, favorites, etc before the procedure begins. This backed-up data is also restored back where it belongs afterwards. Programs, by nature, cannot be backed-up, but they can be re-installed to your computer after the re-format just as if you were putting them on to a new PC. Simply provide me the discs and license keys for your programs you need back on. If they were downloaded (like iTunes, Firefox, Skype, etc), simply make a list for me and I'll go re-download and install them. There are several other small tasks I perform before I give your system back such as diagnostics, system updates, cleanups, and optimizations to make sure everything is in working order and tuned to the max, and then you're good to go!
Mini-Tune-Up Procedures
If a complete re-format is not your thing, there are several procedures I can take to at least help chip away at the computer's slugishness. These steps include un-installing any programs you don't need or use, optimizing Windows startup elements and scheduled tasks, registry and disk cleanups, desktop and start-menu de-clutter, and hard drive storage optimization. These are all part of the Ultimate Tune-Up but can be performed by themselves without the re-format. Be advised that without the complete re-format procedure, your results will not be as good.
Upgrades
Any tune-ups can only restore the performance of your computer to its maximum capability. If you desire higher performance than your computer is capable of, I can make recommendations on upgrades that will be most effective and install them for you. Please see the Upgrades section for more details.
If your computer is over 3-5 years old, it will probably not be compatible with modern hardware updates. Do not despair!
